A hero can be equiped with 7 pieces of Gears, including 3 Accessories. The third Accessory Slot will be unlocked when your Forge is Level 20.
You can craft Gears in the Forge. Tap a Gear slot on your Hero page to equip him/her with an appropriate piece of Gear.
